Many of us still believe that farmers did not have a meaningful role in the periodic upheaval in Indian society. But this is absolutely wrong, because the Tribal, tribes and peasants have contributed significantly to the people who had made a major presence in India's freedom movement. Because after the unsuccessful struggle of 1857, the front of the protest was taken by the peasants, because the biggest agitations of the British and the princely states were due to their exploitation. In fact, in all the peasant movements, most of the movements were against the British.
